Lucknow Ipl – Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is a professional cricket team based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh that competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2021, the team plays its home matches at BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The team is owned by RPSG Group, which previously owned the Rising Pune Supergiant franchise between 2016 and 2017. The team is managed by KL Rahul and coached by Andy Flower.

The Indian Premier League Governing Council has issued invitations for two new teams in August 2021. A total of 22 companies expressed interest, but with a high base price for new teams, there were no more than six serious bids. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has allowed a consortium of three companies or individuals to bid for each franchise. The Sanjiv Goka-led RPSG team acquired the rights to operate the Lucknow franchise with a bid of Rs 7,090 crore.
