The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the complete schedule for the remainder of the IPL 2021, which is scheduled to be held in the UAE. It is worth noting that there are reports regarding the start and end date of the spectacular event, but a detailed schedule of how the remaining 33 matches will be played at the venues is awaited.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians will face Chennai Super Kings in Dubai on September 19 to resume the tournament. The remaining 31 matches will be played in three venues: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Notably, the afternoon games will start at 15:30 IST (2:00 PM UAE time) and the evening games will start at 19:30 IST.

13 matches will be played in Dubai, 10 matches will be played in Sharjah and 8 matches will be played in Abu Dhabi. Talking about the portfolio of IPL franchises, Punjab Kings has the highest amount in the bank. They can spend up to Rs 53.2 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders share the last spot in the purse list at Rs 10.75 crore each.
Defending champions Mumbai Indians have a balance of Rs 15.35 crore, while Royal Challengers Bangalore can spend up to Rs 35.4 crore. Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals have Rs 13.4 crore and Rs 37.85 crore respectively in their accounts. CSK can spend Rs 19.9 crore.

BCCI has announced the complete schedule of IPL 2021 which will be held entirely in India. The tournament opener will be played on April 9 between RCB and MI.
After much fuss, the Sourav Ganguly-led Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the full schedule for the 2021 edition of the IPL to be held in India amid the COVID-19 protocols. The last edition was held in the UAE due to the increase in COVID cases in India, but the tournament will now return to the country after a two-year hiatus.
On Sunday, March 7, the IPL Governing Council announced the full schedule for the IPL 14 season, which will be played at six venues across Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata amid strict COVID-19 protocols.
As per the schedule, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Mumbai Indians (MI) led by defending champions Rohit Sharma in the first match in Chennai on April 9, setting the course for another unforgettable season at the premier tournament. . The world’s largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the playoffs as well as the summit challenge on May 30.

According to media consultancy IPL, the BCCI has said that each team will play on four courts. Out of the 56 matches of the league, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will host 10 matches, while Ahmedabad and Delhi will host 8 matches. The biggest takeaway is that no team will be able to increase their home advantage in this edition, which adds to the challenges they face. In the league phase, all teams will play on 4 out of 6 pitches.
The IPL 14 season will feature 11 doubleheader contests in which 6 teams will play three afternoon games and two teams will play two afternoon games. Timings will remain the same as in IPL 2020. Afternoon matches will start at 3:30 PM (IST) while evening matches will start at 7:30 PM (IST).
In the last edition, the Rohit-led MI camp won their fifth title overall and will be looking to go the distance this time. However, the challenges will be on a whole new level without the home court advantage and fans may not be in the stands next season due to the COVID-19 protocols.
