However, they could still go down depending on who wins Wednesday’s match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are tied on points and both have 10 points. Third-placed Lucknow Supergiants are just one point ahead of the chasing pack with 11 points, while second-placed Chennai Super Kings are at 13. Gujarat Titans are at the top with 16 points.
