The schedule for the 15th edition of the Asian Cup has been announced with the tournament set to begin on August 27, with hosts Sri Lanka taking on Afghanistan in the tournament opener.

He was economically in excellent form against Hong Kong, conceding just 15 runs in three overs while taking wickets. He proved invaluable in the Super Four match against Pakistan and went goalless in the match against Sri Lanka.
In the last match of the tournament in India, the 32-year-old caused chaos with his swing. Bhuvneshwar secured his first five-wicket T20I haul, with all the wickets coming during the Powerplay. He finished the match with the magic number 4-1-4-5. Despite playing less than Pakistan and Sri Lanka, he finished the tournament as the highest wicket taker.

Despite trailing by five, Hasaranga did not back down and continued to hit the boundaries. He crushed Mohammad Hasnain for six and four in the 13th over. With the ball, he went wicketless in his first three innings.
